Participants will be responsible for the cost of their transportation to and from Houston, as well as their housing and meals other than the ones included as part of the conference.

Airport Shuttle Services

If you choose to use the Airport Express Shuttle:

1. Go to the baggage claim area at Hobby or Bush Intercontinental Airport.
2. Go to the Airport Express desk which is located across from the baggage claim area (Terminal C for Bush Intercontinental Airport) to buy your ticket to the Holiday Inn Select.

Ticket price and trip length:

$16 from Hobby Airport, thirty minutes ($28 roundtrip)
$21 from Bush Intercontinental Airport, one hour ($38 roundtrip)

1. The Ground Transportation Counter clerk will tell you where to wait for the Airport Express Shuttle.
2. The shuttle will take you to the Holiday Inn Select.

Parking at Rice is a challenge, therefore we recommend riding the buses we are providing. Buses will shuttle attendees between the hotel and the conference site which is Duncan Hall at Rice University. Please see the agenda for the pick up and drop off times.

However, if you choose to drive, visit the location webpage to locate the visitor parking lot nearest Duncan Hall. Note that if you park at the free visitor lot near the stadium, there is no shuttle service after 4:00pm on Fridays. Moreover, there is no shuttle service on Saturdays.
